Media Monitoring Africa and the Centre for Child Law invite you to attend the Prestigious Inaugural Lecture Series on the Sexual Offences Amendment Act and the Media.

The morning will consist of 3 Mini Seminars (together with a short Q&A session for each). Questions to be answered include: –

·        When Rape isn’t Rape (the broadening of the definitions in the Sexual Offences Amendment Act)

·        So what’s wrong with our National Sex Offenders’ Registers?

·        Are our children criminals for having sex?

The Conference will take place at the Institute for the Advancement of Journalism. Attendance is free but registration is essential to secure your space.
